We are understanding, since customer service is of great importance to us, so we expect that you show some consideration for us as well.

HOW DO YOU GET ONTO THE DBL?

You exceed the stipulated payment deadline and we fail to hear from you.

If you did not explicitly confirm your order, we will allow you to cancel your order. Please inform us if you require a payment deadline extension or if you would like to cancel your order. Do not simply ignore our emails.

If you explicitly "confirm" an order and subsequently cancel your order

As you are given priority when you confirm your order, we do not allow cancellations of confirmed orders.

HOW DO YOU GET OFF THE DBL?

If you did not confirm your order, simply send us an email at info@cocoquettes.com, explaining why you disappeared.

If you expressly confirmed your order, you will have to purchase the item (if it is still available) and explain why you disappeared.

However, if it happens again, you will be permanently placed on the dead buyers list and when this happens, you will be banned from purchasing from us in the future.

Please note that with effect from 27 April 2010, invoices landing in one's Spam is no longer considered a valid explanation as we have put up reminders for customers to check their Spam folders for invoices.

WHY IS IT A BAD THING TO BE LISTED ON THE DBL?

You will still be allowed to make purchases from us. However, all priority will be removed from your order. (i.e. You will be placed last in line when we begin invoicing even if you confirm your order or placed your order before other non-dead-buyers.)

Everyone who visits this page will be able to see your offence + email address.

If other business owners visit this page and see your email address here, they might not want to deal with you.

New payment details were then sent and while waiting for her to make payment, I remade Caught In The Web Of Love for her. Then she disappeared and never replied any of my mails so I was stuck with a remake of an item and then had to place it on sale at a later date. Very inconsiderate customer.

However this time, she failed to make payment within the given time and then after I emailed her, she replied to ask for an extension which was then granted. Then she replied and explained and said she would make payment by 12midnight the next day. When warned that for doing so she would be placed on the DBL, she proceeded to cancel her whole order altogether. Someone please educate me, what is it that is so difficult to comprehend about not commenting if you're not sure?

Comments: She's purchased from us a couple of times before and the transactions all went through smoothly. However, this time, she placed an order for this item and then disappeared. I sent her an email saying that I could extend her deadline if she needed one and I tried to be really understanding and accommodating. She still didn't reply. After 24h after her original payment deadline, I emailed her to let her know I was selling it to the next person in line. I then told her that if she didn't wish to be placed on the DBL, she should contact me within the next 7 days to let me know why she had disappeared. No reply till today :(

Comments: Payment deadline exceeded and reminder sent but we didn't hear from her so we subsequently emailed her to let her know that we placed her on the dead buyers list. She then replied to say she was sorry and our emails went to her spam so she didn't see the invoice and asked us to let her know which items were still available so she could make payment and get herself off the dead buyers list. We sent a second invoice with a new payment deadline but failed to hear from her since.

We sent a reminder and subsequently told her that she would be on the dead buyers list if she failed to repsond. She replied saying that the invoice went into her spam and was away for work so she'd like more time for payment. Her item had already been released for another customer so we had to place an extra order for her since we were conducting a private backorder. The item arrived and she was supposed to make payment but exceeded the deadline yet again! We sent a couple of reminders and she even thanked us for the reminders, saying that she really needed them and would make payment that night. We did not receive payment and have not heard from her since.
